Started the new site and got it from an empty repository to a working, secure build in a day.

Done

  • Models built the first production version of the site: its pages, publishing system, design, search metadata, feeds, and deployment checks.
  • I chose a restrained editorial design and a structure that could serve people and models without becoming two different sites.
  • The first security and dependency review found a real issue; the models repaired it before the work moved on.
  • The complete source was preserved in a public repository from the start.

Linked

This began as a replacement for a parked personal site. By the end of the day it was already something more useful: a public home that could be edited quickly, checked automatically, and read cleanly by both people and machines.

The important part was not how much code appeared. It was that the site became a real operating object on day one. The content had a durable home, the build could refuse malformed changes, and every later decision had somewhere to land.
