Started reconstructing the recurring pattern in how I contribute to organizations and ventures, using actual cases instead of trying to invent a job title.

Done

  • I supplied examples from materially different kinds of work rather than asking a model to infer a professional identity from a résumé.
  • Models compared the cases for repeated contributions, operating conditions, and changes that other participants could observe.
  • Early descriptions captured pieces of the pattern but made it sound more uniform and deliberate than the cases supported. I rejected them.
  • The work remained private and provisional while the underlying examples were still being checked.

Job titles have never explained this particularly well. The better starting point was the work itself: what situation I entered, what I noticed, what changed, and what the people involved later recognized.

That produced more signal than another round of personal branding. It also made the gaps visible. The first model framings were coherent, flattering, and too clean. More cases went in; no public claim came out yet.
