Tested whether a fresh model could recover and use retained research without relying on my memory, and published a new essay.

Done

  • A model with no working-session context recovered the relevant source and produced a usable handoff.
  • Review caught a plausible relationship that the source did not actually establish. It stayed a lead rather than becoming a claim.
  • The recovery process was revised so a passage could remain exact without its apparent relationship or possible use being treated as proven.
  • I published “Reality, agency, and flourishing,” an essay about acting inside a world made partly of natural constraints and partly of human arrangements.

The fresh-reader test mattered because a private archive is not useful merely because it contains the answer. Someone—or some model—has to recover the right thing without being quietly steered by the person who already knows where it is.

The test worked, but not cleanly. The model found missing context and also made one connection that was sensible, relevant, and unsupported. That distinction became part of the process. Models may surface the lead; the source still decides what it can become.
